Exactly one year ago today, Wookie and I were honored to have our first book signing at the Bookworm of Edwards. Today, exactly one year later, a letter arrived in the mail stating that Wookie Is Not His Real Name is officially part of the Library of Congress.
According to the website, “the Library of Congress is the largest library in the world, with millions of books, recordings, photographs, newspapers, maps, and manuscripts in its collections. The Library is the main research arm of the U.S. Congress and the home of the U.S. Copyright Office.”
Additionally, the Library of Congress is designed to preserve and provide access to a rich, diverse, and enduring source of knowledge to inform, inspire, and engage visitors in their intellectual and creative endeavors.
As a longtime writer, former newspaper editor, and book enthusiast, this certification means the world to me. Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way.
