Happy April everyone! Welcome to springtime in the Rockies where I-70 is closed one day due to severe weather conditions and the next day I’m running around with Sedona in a t-shirt. In addition to the warm weather, you know what I love most about spring and summer? Live music season! Yep, once daylight savings comes and goes and we are done with the Passovers and the Easters of the world, my inbox becomes flooded with concert updates and I couldn’t be more excited!
I’m lucky enough to live in a place that has lots of music venues in a variety of shapes and sizes that are both indoor and outdoor. Red Rocks, the Ogden, Denver Botanic Gardens, Four Mile Park, the Fillmore, Pepsi Center, Fiddler’s Green, etc. – you name it, we can accommodate it which, in addition to the location of this great state, is one of the reasons why so many acts make a stop in Colorado. We also get every genre imaginable.
A few examples:
May
Prince
Gipsy Kings
Miranda Lambert & Dierks Bentley
June
Fleetwood Mac
Pitbull & Ke$ha
Tim McGraw with Brantley Gilbert
July
Matchbox 20 & the Goo Goo Dolls
Bret Michaels
Kenny Loggins
August
Rush
Heart
Pat Benetar
September
Journey
Maroon 5 & Kelly Clarkson
Luke Bryan
And that’s just a small sampling. Even though Nashville is known as “Music City” it really seems like Denver has grown into an impressive music hub that features big names playing several times a week all the way through September.
So get your tickets now kids – it’s going to be a quite the summer of music!
