Chapter 437 Of The Courtney Love Saga

These days, the only time Courtney Love is ever in the news is because she did or said something bizarre, caused some kind of commotion, is bitching about Dave Grohl or is giving some alcohol or drug-induced rant in public. And the latest chapter in the Courtney Gone Crazy saga is no different.

Apparently Love recently moved into a new condo in the Nolita section of Manhattan after being evicted from a West Village townhouse for altering the apartment’s décor. And by “alter” I mean she set fire to it and ruined the interior of the place for which she was paying $27,000 a month in rent.

According to Love, her Nolita landlord did not require a credit check in securing the new place, but they did ask for a character reference. Hmm…I can’t imagine why anyone would ask one of the most notorious celebrity troublemakers of the last two decades for a character reference.

Anyway, she gave them several references including a testimonial submitted by U2 front man Bono. Really Bono? You’ve met with almost every single world leader imaginable and you’re tying yourself to Courtney Train-wreck Love? Really?

Regardless of Bono vouching for Love, she has already had a noise complaint since relocating to Nolita. Shortly after moving in, the singer was playing back some recordings in the early morning when a pregnant neighbor complained about the loud music.

Never one to take responsibility for her actions, Love said, “I’ve never gotten a noise complaint. It sounds really lame, being a rock star and all.”

She continued, “It’s all good now. I didn’t know! I don’t do noise complaints.”
